The Boy Lucas - Out Of The Wires

Bio:
Entirely self recorded, ‘Out of the Wires’ was so named because The Boy Lucas considers the sounds he creates as being lucky to make it out of the wires in his haphazardly constructed studio. The Boy Lucas operates by recording his own live instrumentation, editing it and fitting it together to create warm, atmospheric, lo-fi pieces of aural pleasure.

“Fucked up but kinda cute, Theboylucas is a bright spot in a dark world, huddle around him for warmth” 8/10 – NME

”Out of the wires and into the stratosphere.” – SLEAZENATION

“Out of the wires is not only just slightly disturbing atmospherics, there’s also some great musicianship, check the bassline on Eight Protestors. Peter Hook would be proud. Theboylucas is definitely worth keeping an eye on” – 7

“Out of the Wires, the dreamiest slo-fi ambi-primitive album you will here this year. Ebbing and flowing, pulsing and glowing. It’s a fragrant, fresh, genuinely lovely debut..” – NME
