7 Hurtz - Stokers Motor

Seven Hurtz’s second single for Output revisits one of the standout tracks from their debut album ‘Audiophiliac’. The totally re-recorded extended version of ‘Stokers Motor’ wraps 80’s sonics around a thoroughly modern electro riff and blends in a frenzy of beats and analog melody resulting in a 21st century dancefloor assault. A second ‘new’ version is a mellower, more sparse affair. Starting with the bare bones of the original, flipping through elements of the extended mix and finishing with a twisted 4/4 house groove. Also included is March Electronique. A much darker outing – just a raw beatbox and minimal fx. “…dark, writhing electro which delves deep into the depths of your soul. Be afraid. Be very afraid.” – JOCKEY SLUT
