Skull - Snapz
Bio:
One of Output owner Trevor Jackson’s alter egos. Skull was originally created as a kind of unrestricted musical release, to balance the prolific array of production work Trevor was doing in his Underdog guise at the time. A no holds barred tantrum of technical freedom, while trapped in the rigorous restraints of major label remix pressure. Released in late 1999, this EP was a sign of things to come. Mixing Trevor’s obsession with hiphop culture and beat reconstruction with his more experimental post-punk, dub and industrial roots. “It’s Bladerunner meets Friday the 13th meets From Dusk Til Dawn, no – you won’t get bored listening to this - 4/5” – XFADE “A timely reminder of Output head honcho and leftfield philanthropist Trevor Jackson’s towering talent.” – SLEAZENATION
